In 1975, the Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program was started in consortium with Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Technology in 1989 – 1990. It was felt that the College was qualified to offer its own graduate programs and DECS granted a permit and recognition of its Master of Arts in Education Program. The Master in Public Administration and Master in Business Administration were subsequently started in 1996 – 1997. The TCMC Graduate Studies Program has been providing opportunities to public and private school teachers in Eastern Rizal to obtain graduate degrees in order to upgrade rural/countryside education and to improve their socioeconomic conditions. Toward this commitment, the TCMC graduate programs have been managed, improved and enriched employing officials and members of the faculty with the best educational qualifications. The program courses are conducted by PhD’s, Ed D’s and Master degree holders with appropriate specializations in different areas of learning.
Master degree programs in Business Administration (Non-thesis) and Public Administration have likewise served private business and government civil servants in advanced training in management.
The institution have been catering to the needs of the graduate education students from other towns and provinces in the region as well.
The graduate school nurtures academic excellence, professional expertise and moral commitment among its students who are expected to be active participants in nation building.
In the pursuit of College Philosophy “Love God and Country,” the Graduate Studies Program seeks to develop research-oriented professionals and intellectually independent leaders equipped with technical skills.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The principal aim of Graduate Studies Program is the development of intellectual independence and leadership through the cultivation of the scientific, critical and creative faculties of the mind.
Specifically, the various fields of specialization provide intensive training for professional workers in specific areas, enhance the competencies of leaders and finally promote an integrated understanding and appreciation of man’s place in society.
