On February 12, 2012, the 2^nd year BSA students experienced a rare opportunity as they toured the premises of ABS-CBN in Quezon City, with the guidance of Mr. Gerald M. Trinidad, Professor of Humanities 12.

The trip began with a guided tour in the most famous studio which is about 800 sq./m in area, and where ASAP 2012 was currently being shot.  The tour guide spoke of the ABS-CBN history, as well as, the intricacies of the props, lighting and cameras involved in the day-to-day activity in the studio.  Studio 9 came next in the agenda.  It is where Kris TV is shot.  Picture taking became the main concern of the excited students as they came face to face with the star. The students then proceeded to the next studio where TV Patrol is usually aired.  And finally, the most awaited event of the day came, the viewing of the live show “It’s Showtime.”  The stars and hosts of the show, Kuya Kim, Billy Crawford, Vhong Navarro, Jugs and Teddy, Ryan Bang, Karylle, Collene Garcia, Anne Curtis and the “Unkabogable,” ViceGanda, with Jhong Hilario, Zanjoe Marudo and KuhLedesma as the “Hurados” highlighted the tremendous experience of the students.  Prior to airing of the show, the rest of the audience including the students practiced the different dances.  The students also participated in the different games such as “Arte Mo,” Have and “Waley” and many more.

At the culmination, the last destination was at the Sta. Lucia East.  The group took their lunch and bought “pasalubong.”  The trip definitely rated high for the students, in spite of the hunger, their eyes were fully compensated by the sights seen.  A truly remarkable experience to savor.
